About the Author

Lucie Mendoza is a graduate student at Southern New Hampshire University, pursuing a Masters of Arts in Communication. She is a full-time graphic designer and freelance fashion photographer. Additionally, she loves to volunteer within her local community, Catholic parish and in regional religious conventions. For 8 years, they have assisted in workshops that gear towards teaching people with disabilities, helping them gain insight in the struggles of the disabled community. With a background in graphic design and the arts, they hope to bring awareness to the disabled community and their barriers against the digital world beginning with the business environment. 


By creating this page of research and sources, they strive to expand the knowledge of web designers, graphic designers, brands and organizations to prioritize digital accessibility when creating and expanding their digital content.
